Excerpts from Emmanuella Graces new debut album 'London Stories'

Pieces like Here Today and Butterfly were written on whims after someone said something that kicked off a song in my head. Here Today was written after a wine fueled misunderstanding and subsequent bet that I couldn’t write a song on four chords.
Kentish Town Laundry was written in memory of a group of elderly residents that were regulars at my local Laundromat when I first moved to Camden. A community meeting place that was wastefully boarded up and destroyed. Cocaine and Soho are cabaret pieces.Through satire I dealt with of the scary and at times traumatic experiences of London Living.
This album has my blood, sweat and tears but it was also fulfilling and a lot of fun in the making.
I hope you enjoy it. Emmanuella
